After 24 years in the Marine Corps, I spent many years working in the corporate world. In 2015, I traded my necktie for a tool belt so I could do high-end custom home remodeling and furniture building. Along the way, I developed an interest in creating countertops, sinks, and furniture out of concrete. Due to this interest, I spent the last few years learning and practicing the art of working with concrete. I have spent many hours of concentrated training with the Concrete Countertop Institute learning the science and engineering of concrete.

In 2017, I took the next step and formed my own company, Compass Custom Creations! Starting Compass Custom Creations is the realization of a dream. I get to do what I love; turn wood and concrete into beautiful, lasting, and functional items that turn peoples’ dreams into reality!
